I developed, produced, and photographed "The Colors of Character," pairing poses, models, and colors to represent character portrayal to society. The makeup and lighting were designed to enhance not just our interpretation of color, but our perception of personality and character. We oftentimes associate and pair color with people and personalities subconsciously and this photoshoot reflects, and also challenges, that idea for each individual that experiences it. This project earned an Award of Excellence in the "Photography" category at the 65th Annual Design Exhibition hosted by the Art Director's Association of Iowa.
